Alleged Threat To Life Ahamba: I Wear Bullet Proof Now Stop Playing To The Gallery -Gov’s Aide

Chief Mike Ahamba, a legal expert who is the lead counsel of the PDP candidate Emeka Ihedioha in the Imo State governorship tribunal sitting in Owerri has maintained his claim that Imo Governor, Owelle Rochas Okoroccha is after his/life. Speaking to journalists in Owerri Tuesday, Chief Ahamba disclosed that he remains unstoppable by Okorocha and his group adding that he is now wearing bullet proof to protect his life. According to him “my bullet proof is God and the fight will be like that of David and Goliath” Ahamba submitted. Last week Chief Ahamba told the public that Governor Okorocha sent a threat message to him saying that he should withdraw the Guber petition or else face trouble. According to reports, Ahamba said that his position as Ihedioha’s lawyer is putting him at risk because of alleged threats from the governor’s end.
Chief Ahamba however declared that he is now set to bring out his best in the tribunal matter adding that the truth must be told without fear or favour.
One of Governor Okorocha’s team player and former commissioner for information, Hon Engr Chidi Ibeh, in his reaction urged Chief Ahamba to retract his statement on the alleged threat and apologise to the Governor without delay. Chief Ibe hinted also that Chief Ahamba just wanted to play to gallery and bring confusion in Imo.
He noted that the Governor is a good Christian and cannot plan to eliminate anybody.
Speaking further, High Chief Chidi Ibe revealed that for Chief Ahamba to have come up with his dangerous claim few hours to the tribunal case between Ihedioha and Okorocha calls for concern and deep reasoning, adding that the lawyer (Ahamba) does not constitute any threat to the popular mandate given to Governor Rochas Okorocha by Imolites.
