Njemanze Commends Gov Uzodimma For Enabling Good Environment, Applauds Hon Frank Nzewodo OCDA GM’s Leadership
The Special Adviser to His Excellency, Governor Hope Uzodimma on Owerri Capital Development Authority (OCDA), Honourable Amanze Njemanze, has commended Governor Uzodimma for providing an enabling environment and favourable working conditions for civil servants in Imo State.
Hon. Njemanze made the commendation during a media chat with OCDA Media in Owerri, where he also lauded the General Manager of the Owerri Capital Development Authority (OCDA), Honourable Frank Nkem Nzewodo, for his firm and transparent leadership in the agency.
According to Njemanze, the OCDA under Hon. Nzewodo’s watch has witnessed remarkable improvement in efficiency, transparency, and revenue generation.
“I want to hail the OCDA General Manager for standing firm in decision-making within the authority. His wise and pragmatic approach to solving problems has positioned OCDA as one of the best-performing parastatals in the state,” Njemanze stated.
He further disclosed that the OCDA has successfully curtailed incidences of TSA-related fraud and has now emerged as one of the highest revenue-generating agencies in Imo State.
Turning his attention to the state government, Hon. Njemanze extolled Governor Hope Uzodimma for his workers-friendly policies, noting that the administration’s focus on staff welfare has resulted in improved productivity across ministries and agencies.
“His Excellency, Governor Hope Uzodimma, has successfully created an enabling working environment for workers in the state — from free transportation to the provision of medical insurance, and now making Imo workers among the highest paid in Nigeria,” he said.
“All these initiatives are geared towards improving the welfare of workers, which in turn has enhanced service delivery in the state.”
The Special Adviser reaffirmed that the OCDA will continue to strengthen its operations and uphold fairness and transparency in executing its core mandate of maintaining and preserving the Owerri Capital City master plan.
“The authority will continue to improve service delivery and ensure fairness in carrying out our responsibilities,” Njemanze assured.
With the ongoing reforms in the OCDA and the governor’s sustained investment in workers’ welfare, Imo State appears poised to maintain its trajectory of administrative efficiency and infrastructural order.
