Ikeduru Agenda Chapter Kicks Against Obinna Nshirim’s TC Chair Appointment

A group of prominent members of the All Peoples Congress APC under the aegis of “Agenda Ikeduru Chapter” has petitioned the Imo State House of Assembly over the nomination of Engr. Obinna Nsirim as the chairman Interim Management Committee/Transition Committee, Ikeduru local government.
The petition which was signed by prominent members of the group in Ikeduru dated December 17, 2013 and made available to Trumpeta was routed to the speaker of the state House of Assembly through the committee chairman of the house for screening of the committee members.
In the seven paragraph petition, the group alleged, “Engr. Obinna Nsirim has never and is never working for either the Governor or APC in Ikeduru.
Engr. Obinna Nsirim is presently working for APGA having been drafted by Dr. Joe Obi Njoku to work for the Agbasos who are cousins to Dr. Joe Obi.
Engr. Obinna Nsirim is currently the president of Owerri Zenith Assembly (O.Z.A.L), a group committed to the election of a Governor of Owerri zone extraction contrary to the aspirations of our performing Governor H/E Owelle Anayo Rochas Okorocha.
Engr. Obinna Nsirim was allegedly dismissed by his former employers Messrs Lemmy Akakem construction Co. Ltd for fraud/stealing related offences. See attached marked Annex 1.
As a personal assistant to a one time chairman of Mbaitoli/Ikeduru LGA Chief Anuforo, Engr. Obinna Nsirim was accused of involvement in the misappropriation of water pipes and electricity poles made for Uzoagba Autonomous community which eventually demanded for the restitution of the material from Engr. Obinna Nsirim. It was alleged that (Engr. Nsirim) connived with Dr. Obi Njoku to Deprive the Uzoagba community of the materials. See attached marked Annex 2”.
They maintained, “In view of the above, we ask that Engr. Obinna Nsirim’s nomination as the chairman Interim Management Committee/Transition Committee be withdrawn immediately. His confirmation as such will definitely cause a breach of the peace in Ikeduru LGA. It will also be catastrophic for the Governor’s structure. Please be guided accordingly, for a stitch in time saves nigh”. The petition added.
