The youth leader told our reporter that he was kidnapped on Sunday 26th January, 2014 by an unknown gang suspected to be working under the instructions of the legislator and was released by his abductors on Tuesday 28 January after efforts by security agents to locate his where about.
Mr Achara said his ordeal started on the 24th of January, 2014 when he received a call from the traditional ruler of their neighbouring community, Umuneke Ugiri Autonomous Community, HRH Eze Emmanuel Ike, for him Achara to report at his palace for a discussion on a drainage project in their area.
He narrated that when he got to the palace of Eze Ike, he was confronted by one Mr Wilson Amechi (Owuson) the Personal Assistant to Hon Iwunze and Mr Ifeanyi Diala (Udu) who started shouting at him in the presence of the Eze accusing him Comr Obialor of insulting his boss Hon Iwunze and insisted on bundling him to Owerri to meet with Hon Simon Iwunze to explain why he insulted the legislator and for undermining the authority and supremacy of Hon Iwunze in Mbano.
While that was going on the traditional ruler of Ofodim Umuneke, HRH Eze Chibuzo Uzoechi came into the palace of his fellow Eze for the same discussion concerning the drainage project in the area which Comr Uche said made both Owuson and Udu to back down which allowed him to leave the palace to allow.
Uche Obialor noted that after he left the palace, he was ambushed by Mr Wilson Owuson and Anayo Uwandu in the company of some other unknown faces with the Sure-P motor bike. They insisted that he should climb on the bike for onward journey to Owerri to meet Hon Iwunze. Uche went further to narrate that he resisted and ran away for safety to Owerri to the Imo State Police Command to make an official report on the threat to his life.
After the report at the police in Owerri, Comr Uche said he was asked to report back on Monday, the 27th of January for further investigation and action which gave him confidence to return.

HRH Eze Uzoechi handed him to Anayo Uwandu and his gang accompanied by Ifeanyi Ezeji. he was stripped naked and forced to dance round the village chanting “I will not insult Hon Iwunze again”. After that humiliation, Uche said HRH Eze Uzoechi who was excited over the treatment given to him asked him to join forces with them to support the political aspiration of Hon Iwunze in 2015 or face more serious consequences.
From the palace of Eze Uzoechi Uche said he was taken straight to dream land hotel at Owerri where he met Hon Iwunze in the company of the newly appointed Transitional Council Chairman of Isiala Mbano. At Dreamland, Uche said he was accused by Hon Iwunze of insulting his person which he denied telling the legislator that what he has been saying is that Hon Iwunze should stop fomenting crisis in their Ofodim Umuneke Autonomous Community and concentrate in his Umuneke Ugiri Autonomous Community which infuriated the legislator who ordered that he should be taken away and handled in the language he will understand.
“When I left the palace of Eze Uzoechi, after coming back from Hon Iwunze’s Dreamland Hotel, I was kidnapped and blind folded, taken to an unknown destination until on the 28th January, 2014 when I was released and dropped off by my abductors at PDS Junction along Anara road in Mbano and I went straight to report the incident to the police at Owerri” Uche noted.
