The Inaugural General Assembly of the Imo College of Advanced Professional Studies (ICAPS) Alumni Association (ICAPS-AA) was held at Congress Hall of Blue Island Hotels& Arena, Enugu on Saturday 9th August, 2014 and attended by delegates representing ICAPS-AA’s over four thousand Alumni.
The General Assembly unanimously approved ICAPS-AA’s Constitution and elected a team of five (5) National Officers to oversee the affairs of ICAPS-AA for the next four (4) years. The Alumni includes: Pastor FrankGold Ekwueme, Chairman, Rev. Fr. Linus Njoku, Vice Chairman, Evang. Luke Aneke, Strategic Adviser & Publicity Secretary, Dr. Sylvester Ohajanwa, Liaison & Administrative Secretary, Mrs. Grace Udenwa, Financial Secretary, Miss. Chinyere Enyi, Organizing Secretary.
ICAPS-AA remains eternally grateful to the Executive Governor of Imo State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha (ICAPS Visitor & Founder) for setting-up Imo College of Advanced Professional Studies (ICAPS)and the exceptional opportunity given to over four thousand Nigerians to study various foreign courses that have allowed participants the first ever college of professional studies in Nigeria.
ICAPS-AA further appreciates the uncommon capacity &dedication of the entire Dean Faculty/Foreign Academics led by the very able Prof. David Day, (ICAPS President). Words cannot express our appreciation for your excellent training manuals. In-view of these, ICAPS President) has being named ICAPS-AA staff adviser by the General Assembly as permanent.
ICAPS-AA also set-up a strategic committee to consult and formally confer our much esteemed Award of Good Service to our revered visitor His Excellency, Owelle Rochas Okorocha and esteemed ICAPS President, Prof. David Day. We also calls on all Nigerians irrespective of tribe and religion to make use of the unique opportunity to be tutored by ICAPS’ renowned academics, for maximizing the full life potentials in Security; Management; Diplomacy & Conflict Resolution; Oil & Gas Drilling.
