The Eze – Elect of Awo – Mbieri autonomous community, Eze Oliver Nwaozuzu has called on his loyalists and opposition factions in the just concluded Ezeship election to join hands and build the community.
Eze Nwaozuzu stated this during a chat with journalists at his palace. He thanked God and the people for electing him and promised not to disappoint them. He also revealed that Eze Ugbere 1 is his title as enshrined in the village constitution. He is equally grateful to God for wading into the matter and ending the 11 year old Ezeship tussle that had delayed the peace and progress of the land. Eze Nwaozuzu said that his 962 votes against the 12 votes of his co – contestant Chief E.A Eronini showed that the community really believed in his abilities, capabilities and leadership qualities, and pledged his total commitment and sacrifice to the people of Awo – Mbieri and humanity in general.
