As Nigerians have been kept waiting for the announcement of the ministerial list by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Presidential spokesperson has rested all speculations surrounding the highly revered positions.
Dousing all speculations and lists flying on the blogosphere, the Presidential spokesman, Dele Alake has said the president is yet to make any nomination.
Speaking in Abuja, he added that no signal or list has left the President’s table to the senate, stressing that for such a position, it won’t be shrouded in secrecy but has to pass through the necessary channels of the National Assembly for confirmation and approval.
Hence, Alake called on Nigerians to hold their peace and wait for the official pronouncement from President Tinubu to the Senate.
Recall that Tinubu is expected to appoint his cabinet members on or before July 29, 2023 according to stipulations of the law.
