Over 1000 PDP,  APGA, LP Members In  Egbema  Join APC Party Mobilises For  Uzodimma

It was an eventful outing for the All Progressive Congress,  APC, in Egbema Ward A of Ohaji/Egbema LGA of Imo when thousands of supporters from PDP, APGA, LP and others  joined the ruling party.

At the meeting held by Egbema Ward A in the house of one of the prominent leaders of the area, Engr Tony Okanne, meant to garner support for the governor of the state, Senator Hope Uzodimma, many of members of other parties joined the APC.
Similarly, the meeting had strong backing blessing from a prominent leader of the ward, and APC Chieftain, Rt Hon Goodluck Opiah who sent a goodwill message requesting the masses to support the second term project of Governor Uzodimma.
The open  meeting was a crucial gathering where importance of voting for Governor Uzodimma for second term in office was emphasized in the fast approaching gubernatorial election.

Egbema Ward A had earlier held a booth to booth campaign exercises and had to draw the curtain close with the open gathering at the house Engr Okanne who recently retired from the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC.
Apart from the decampees from other parties present at the meeting, the event was attended by reputable from each of the units making up the ward.

The leaders who spoke said one after the other unanimously agreed to deliver Uzodimma adding that victory is assured for the people’s governor.

Among the political leaders who officially defected to the APC are Leo Alimezia and Chris Ezekwe who joined the ruling party from APGA and PDP respectively.
The leaders who attended were Engr Tony Okanne, Hon Goodluck Ukwe, Hon Afam Ogide (ward Chairman), Hon Christopher Azugwu (ward Secretary) and Ezeali Sally Ikeji.

Others are Hon Stanley Okanne, Hon Stanley Okwuosha, Hon Goodluck Dioke, Chief Livy Ojinji and Chief Dennis Ojiaku.

Not left out are Hon Achor Ejizu, Hon Camenus Okoro, Chief Christian Ezekwe, Chioma Ukaegbu (Ohaji/ Egbema Women Leader), Caroline Onyenwaoke (Ward A Women Leader), Amadi Temple, Chemberlin Uzu, Ezeali Marcel Nazi, Promise Ukaegbu, Peter Toke, Erastus Anyaso, Leo Alimezia,Sunday Nduleri,Emenike Chimaokwu,Ifeanyi Okoro,Comr Afam Ogide, Chima Ezikoro, Uche Nwaga and Collins Ojenya .
