Still in the mood of festivity the people of Eziama Community in Ikeduru LGA on Friday January 1st, 2021 marked their Cultural day celebration “Eziama Ulorji Cultural Day” at the Community School field Eziama.
As a spice to make the celebration a memorable one, an illustrious son of the Community and Apex Leader of the All Progressive Congress APC, in the State, Prince Charls Amadi, CEO of Charlvon Group of Companies used the occasion to also kick start the foundation laying of a Secretariat site mapped out for Ndi Eze Ikeduru as well as entire Eziama Community to help legalize their meeting point where they can discuss issues as it affects them.
At the foundation laying site, Trumpeta gathered that the people of the Community are pleased with the Innovation and nice gestures of Charlvon.
HRH Eze Amb (Dr) Marcel Egemonu, Chairman Ndi Eze Ikeduru gburugburu who spoke to Trumpeta stated that it’s been long they have experienced such gesture in their Community noting that he is happy today that one of their illustrious sons has taken it upon himself to make them proud.
Still speaking, he said the project would bring about good road network and enhance Community network among other Community developments to the area.
Other Traditional Rulers present at the event include; Engr Francis Anokwu, HRH Eze Onuoha(Otu Nbadi), Eze Joe Anyika and Eze (Engr) Benedict Ikechukwu equally collaborated the above positive assertions.
They all unianimously prayed for him and promised to work tirelessly with him to ensure that his expectations come to pass.
Charlvon in his remark appreciated them all for believing in him and honouring his invitation and promised never to fail them nor let them down.
The President General Eziama (Ulorji) Autonomous Community in his comment said the gesture will go a long way in reviving the people’s economic activity.
He stated that for over a decade now the celebration which brings together the good people of Eziama has suffered serious setback due to political wrangling but he was grateful to God that the storm is over as God has blessed the Community again with a Godfearing believer of peace and unity in the person of Prince Charls Amadi and his lovely Wife, Princess Yvonne Amadi who were the Chief hosts of the event.
Highlights of the event includes; foundation stone laying of the Secretariat which was done by Eze Ikeduru Gburugburu, HRH Eze Marcel Egemonu as well as the Fifty Million Naira(₦50,000,000.00) estimated project launching that would help bring back their community to its lost glory.
