The management of Nigeria Women Premier League (NWPL) side, Heartland Queens Football Club of Owerri will on Monday February 3, 2020 commence open screning exercise for interested players ahead the new season.
The club made this disclosure through their media officer, Mr Humphery Njoku stating that the official commencement of open screening of interested and talented players in readiness for the upcoming 2019/2020 NWPL season will hold next week monday.
“The commencement date for the open screening is Monday, February 03, 2020 at the mini stadium of Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Owerri North.
‘All interested players are requested to come to the assessment/screening exercise with their respective training kits.
‘Successful players will be integrated into a crack/solid team that will prosecute and challenge for glory in the 2019/2020 NWPL season.
‘Heartland Queens Football Club finished third in the four-team Group B of the NWPL 2018/19 season that included winners, Adamawa Queens, Edo Queens and debutants, Dream Star Ladies FC od Lagos.
